word of the day #1
"The Devil in the White City" has a lot of words I've never seen before, so I've found myself reading it with a pocket dictionary by my side.
I try to use to techniques that I learned in my Etymology (the study of words; ENTOMOLOGY is the study of bugs, FYI) class junior year before I grab the dictionary.
So I decided to help you guys broaden your vocabulary as well by posting a new word every day. :]
Somnambulism (n.) - an abnormal condition of sleep in which motor acts (as walking) are performed.

knowledge is power.
So Ben suggested that I read this book, and after...5 months, I decided to pick up a copy. I thoroughly enjoy it so far. U.S. history is one of my favorite subjects, so I definitely get that, plus Chicago history in here, AND we get some serial killer action. Holler.
They made a "shockumentary" from his life a couple years back. We'll see what Netflix has to say about it, but only after I finish reading.
